Theodore Brown
Theodore was born on August 30, 1983 in Miami, Florida. At only 8 years of age he started dancing in a group called “Live in Color” where he found his calling to dance. He was also into athletics such as football; he played for optimist teams at the age of thirteen and kept playing all through high school. Dancing played a big part in his life. He experienced his first video at age of 15 for Baha Men in “Who Let the Dogs Out”. Theodore began to experience dance at a professional level at an early stage of his life; he performed at many venues throughout South Florida with the legendary dance troupe “Live in Color”. Local events include the Martin Luther King Parade, Zoë’s Summer Groove, and Miami Heat games, among others.
In early 2003 he got his big break dancing at “Showtime” at the Apollo. Later in the same year he received the opportunity to perform and compete in the ABC Family dance show “Dance Fever”. There he and the rest of the “Live in Color” group became the 1st place winners out of thousands of contestants around the country. Outside of performing professionally, Theodore became a very popular dance teacher at Dancer’s Gallery. There he sets the example and passes down his talent and knowledge of dancing to many of his students. He became the inspiration for other dancers that desire to pursue the art of dance and have the similar dream of being a professional performers.
In 2005, Theodore began touring on the road with Miami’s rap artist Trina and appeared in her latest hit video “Don’t Trip”. He has performed for many different artists such as Trick Daddy, Usher, Lil’ John, Ludacris, Luke, and many more. Theodore continues to teach choreography and perform with "Hi Definition" formally known as "Live In Color". He has also participated in the opening season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, performed with Brooke Hogan at Calle Ocho, and was a principle dancer for vocal artist Paulina Rubio at Premios Juventud 2009.
